Here's what I've done so far

JPMorgan Chase & Co.

Software Engineering Intern, 2017

Chicago, IL

Worked on a year long project to analyze current Corporate Credit-Card onboarding system and identify several overarching pain-points. Re-designed the onboarding pipeline into a streamlined and cohesive platform which was then presented to Commercial Card stakeholders. Developed a dynamic Spring MVC web application to implement the proposed platform. I have utilized JSP servlets, MariaDB, and the jBPM Java framework for the backend and Bootstrap, HTML/CSS, and jQuery for the front-end design so far.

Fannie Mae

Software Engineering (Big Data) Intern, 2016

Reston, VA

Developed Linux shell scripts to continuously push investor mortgage data into Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) and test whether the data was processed and then published to Fannie Mae website. Also wrote and implemented heartbeat bash script program that ensured functionality and efficiency of Fannie Mae Big Data enterprise application every hour.

Currently a Senior at U of M studying Computer Science with a minor in Business. My goal as a student at Michigan is to explore the intersection between technology and business and leave school with the skills necessary to pursue a career I love. So far, I have been involved in a variety of extracurricular activities, including the UM Solar Car Team, Wolverine Tutors, Michigan Business Club, Michigan Financial Innovation Group, and MDP (Multidisciplinary Design Program).

Strategy Division Member, 2015-2017

Worked on multiple software projects that helped the team perform better on race day. For example, I led a project to create an application using Excel VBA to implement QR-Code based inventory system. In addition, I developed GUI using HTML/CSS and PHP that tracks weather data over an extended period of time, caches that data, and then displays the appropriate weather map figures without internet connection.

United States Geological Survey

Organic Petrology Lab Researcher, 2015

Reston, VA

Worked under the mentorship program where I analyzed shale and coal samples to eventually determine natural gas viability of samples from around the world. This was done by examining thermal maturity and mineral profiles of every sample received. Research culminated with 10-page research paper and presentation.

Inspire Public Speaking

Founder & CEO, 2012-2015

Herndon, VA

Founded organization to teach young kids in the local community about public speaking and debate. Also created a website and flyers to advertise in local elementary and middle schools.
